General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Record of Acceptance
Welcome to Milton Keynes Community Choir (MKCC). By giving us your name, and other information below, you are consenting for us, as an organisation, to hold the data you have provided.
We will use this data to help manage the Choir. Specifically, we may use it to monitor attendance at rehearsals and participation in the Choir’s activities. Among other things, this will enable us to ensure:
that we comply with the building capacity regulations;
that we can monitor for possible gaps in attendance, address any potential dissatisfaction with the Choir, and confirm that an individual wishes to continue as a member. In this way, we may look to discuss any problems, seek resolution and potentially enable new members to join the Choir when there is a waiting list;
that subs are appropriately paid by those who attend.
No personally attributable data is shared with any third parties.
Most of the choir communication is by email. A member can subscribe and unsubscribe from emails at will by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of each email.
When a member gives notice of leaving the Choir, their record on Mailchimp will be archived, and they will need to reapply if they wish to re-join. The current membership secretary and holder of personal data is John Pettit.
A copy of the information held on any member is available to that member (within 28 days) on request to the membership secretary; we will request a £10 administration fee.
